the comments have began...

Warning...vent post ahead...

I was at the park today with Charley, a friend and her daughter. And a random old lady at the park said "so when is the baby due?" and I responded with about 5 weeks and she said "there is no way you are making it that long!" thanks lady.

Another lady there asked me the same question and was very polite about it and wished me good luck.

Then I have been having those people like the wonderful lady at Noodles and Company when I went there for lunch who assumed I wanted the large size meal instead of the small I usually get - and when she rang it up and I asked why it was so much she said "feed that baby" REALLY?!

And then there was the lady at PetSmart - who called someone from the back and told me to wait for them to get there to put my dog food in my car for me - and when this "someone" arrived, he was like 70 years old and frail. C'mon lady - I didn't ask for help and if I needed help couldn't you have gotten some hot young guy to come and help me? So needless to say Jimmy is doing all of the dog food shopping for the next 5 weeks.

Sorry for the vent - but I'm pregnant not disabled - and yes my stomach is large, but there is a kid in there!! And I seem to not make small children and I am about 5'10 1/2" so I'm not little - but there is really no need for comments.

I go out and take our three 85lb dogs for nightly walks TOGETHER - so over 250lbs of dog - and me every night so I can hold my own people!! Flipping a bag of dog food from the cart to my car, picking up my daughter to put her on the teeter totter (yes the same old lady asked if I needed help picking up my daughter...), or ordering what size food I want - I am all capable of doing myself - so please keep the comments to yourself. Oh and I have had 1/2 a glass of sangria and a few sips of beer - and SUSHI three times while I have been pregnant...so leave me alone!!

sorry again...needed to vent.

Are you ready...

Where I have been...and what we have been doing...

We have one baby on the way...6...six...SIX more weeks!

We have had 2 major snow storms, which resulted in a week off of work :)

We have had one not-so-little girl turn 2

We had one gymnastics birthday party...

We graduated from our gymnastics class...and continue to go...

We have had many visits to the park (excuse the iphone photo quality)

We have blown A LOT of bubbles!

We had one successful (ok I didn't say enthralling) visit to the Easter Bunny

We had her first Easter Egg hunt (thanks Joy's Hope for the t-shirt tutorial!)

I made rainbow cupcakes for the egg hunt...same as her birthday cupcakes, just a pastel version

We had her first horse back riding lesson...she did amazing!! And has asked us every day since - when she can go back and ride horses :)

So here we are 6 weeks left before our family of 6 (including the 3 pups) becomes 7...until someone becomes a big sister and there is SO MUCH TO DO!

We are slowly getting things done, but some things are in the way. Jimmy has his first marathon in 2 weeks - then we have some plans to take the soon to be big sister away for a few trips to spend more quality time with her.

We need finish her big girl room and move her into it.

We need to get all of the baby stuff down from the attic.

We need to have the baby to find out what it will be!! We have names, well no girl's middle name yet, but at least first names, which I was worried for a while we would never have.

My photography business is booming. I have 2 shoots next weekend and 3 more to be scheduled. I am LOVING it.

There are babies galore around - 2 of my best friends from college had little baby boys within 3 weeks of each other, and we found out another one of our friends is due in November - it is great!

We are planning our summer vacation, I can't wait.

So needless to say - the reason I am writing this at almost 3am is because I am so exhausted after the day is done, that I fall asleep on the couch around 8pm after Charley goes to bed, then wake up around 2 and am wide awake. Need to get better about just going to bed!! But with so much to do...

Thanks for sticking around. I will be back more regularly...but until then check out my photography blog and see what I have been spending my extra time doing :) and loving....and not believing that I am getting to do what I love so much...life is good...no it is great...and going to just keep getting better!!
