Degrees - is why there was no post from me last night. Charley had a fever - it was a long night. Her first fever yet. My poor baby. She is waking up now...so hopefully it has gone away. I should be back later...

She is is now off with a really good friend of mine for a day of fun :) So I can bake my butt off - I have already made one batch of strawberry cupcakes for the party, Charley's cake and am on to batch number 2!! I'll be back tonight with a 'real' post!! Have a great day and thanks for all of the well wishes for Charley!!

Keeping my Promise...

To present you with a video of Charley -- though it is in no way the video I wanted. Miss Charley woke up from her afternoon nap all rosy cheeked, flushed and not a very happy girl. All she wanted was me to hold her :( I did manage to get a little video of her cute antics - though broken up by a few cries. You can see her at the end of the video reaching across her high chair tray for me, so that was the end. I might try again tomorrow if this whole video posting thing works. Because when she does it...over and over...it is just so cute!!

Ok so here is a brief synopsis - Charley now likes to shake her head "no no no" as her babysitter calls it. Well now at dinner time when you offer her anything she does it, over and over and over - even though she really does want what you are offering. The funny thing is how she goes from acting all funny - to straight serious when she shakes her head.

You will have to watch quick at the beginning because that is where she does the 'no no no' then she does a few other of her little traits like clapping for herself :)

Enjoy :)

Terrific Tuesday

Today was a great day...I had all day off to spend with Charley and I enjoyed every minute of it. She is such a wonderful little girl and cracks me up!!

I know I have said it before about posting a video of her doing the cute things she does...well tomorrow I am on a mission!! Once again - to keep you all in suspense I am going to take a video of Charley when she is eating dinner and then will get it posted! No if's ands or butts about it :)

We went shopping and ran some errands - shared a grilled cheese for lunch and some frozen yogurt for a snack at the mall. All in all it was a PERFECT day - minus that we both would have loved for Jimmy to be with us...but some one has got to work to pay the bills that Charley and I make while shopping :) heehee

I got some cute clothes - pants a size smaller :) and some MEDIUM shirts :) Yes the girls have shrunk big time - so I can now buy some smaller shirts. Makes me happy - Jimmy not so much!!

Then we came home and Charley had a nice long nap so I could catch up on a few things --- like 3 more loads of laundry! I thought I caught up on this on Friday!! And now it is ALL BACK!

Jimmy came home and we headed to the gym...we had to do 5 miles today and we really wanted to run outside, but it was a little too cold and too late to go out with Charley. So we decided to treadmill it. I loaded some new tunes on my iPod (Margie - I am planning on stopping by and commenting when I have a little more time to tell you my Fav tunes!!) and decided to bust my butt on the treadmill. And I DID!! 5 miles in 45 minutes and 11 seconds! Tiger came on to tell me I had my fastest mile again, I like hearing Tiger's voice :)

Good news is it is supposed to warm up for our run on Thursday - so hopefully that will be outside.

Here is my Nike+...a 9m 1s average mile pace!!

And here is today's menu...

FoodUnits
strawberry yogurt pie 3
crisps 1
1/2 grilled cheese 4
chocolate 1

Monday, Monday, Monday...

Another Monday - another week that is going to fly by because I have so much to do.

There are 33 adults and a few kids coming to Charley's birthday party on Sunday - and I don't think my house holds that many people. And I have food to prepare - make - buy- store and a ton of other things to do before 11 am Saturday morning! It will all be worth it though. At least I don't have to clean the house as much since it is already semi-clean from the shower this past weekend.

We hit up spin class tonight and had the great instructor again. I was 15 minutes late for class because I was making Charley and a friend of ours daughters 1st birthday presents - I'll take a picture of them when I pick them up on Friday :) Until then you will have to be in suspense.

I still got in a great sweaty workout which was perfect. We came home and had a yummy veggie filled dinner of chicken stir fry. We had a bunch of veggies left over from the veggie tray from the shower - so we had fresh broccoli, snap peas, carrots, sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious and filling!

I made another Weight Watchers pie tonight - ok I am not so sure it is WW as the back of the Keebler Reduced Fat Pie Crust had the same recipe. Anyways here it is - it is so good and 3 points for 1/8 of it - which is a big piece!! The first one I made was key lime which was to die for, tonight I made strawberry and my Mom is experimenting with peach tonight. Really the options are limitless since all you have to go by is the flavors of sugar free Jello and FF yogurts you can find!

5 minute 3 point pie :)

1/4 cup boiling water
small packet of sugar free lime jello
2 fat free key lime yogurts
1 tub of ff cool whip
1 reduced fat graham cracker crust

-whisk the water and jello until the jello is dissolved
-whisk the jello mix with the yogurt
-fold in the cool whip (I just whisk it all in together and it still works)
-fill the pie crust with the mixture and put in the fridge for at least 4 hours
-cut into 8 pieces and enjoy!

if you want to make a different flavor just change the jello and yogurt flavors!

Alright I am off to bed...I have off tomorrow - to spend with Charley and I need my rest! :)

8 miles

Today was an exhausting day - the shower was a hit! We had a good time - the house is clean too :) which is nice. Now if it can just stay that way until next weekend for Charley's party!

I did my 8 mile run after the shower - I SO DID NOT want to go - I was B E A T. But I looked at the weather forecast and it was calling for snow/rain/ice mix from 4am tonight on - and the motivation to not have to run 8 miles on the treadmill tomorrow was motivation enough! I planned my route and headed out.

It was just as enjoyable as last weeks 7 mile run - though I learned a few things this run.

-Don't eat cake at the baby shower before your run - it makes for some uncomfortable stomach cramps while running 8 miles
-OVER DRESS - it is cold outside and if you have too many layers on you can always take clothes off if you are warm - but if you don't have enough you'll be COLD - woah that sounded like my Mom talking
-if your nose is sore from blowing it all week - put some Vaseline on it before you go running in the cold - sore nose + cold wind = very sore nose (picture the little kid on the Puffs Plus commercial - or Ruldoph - you choose)
-watch out for sidewalk cracks - they could (were almost) my demise - and I am sure I gave a few people driving by in cars a laugh as I tripped and then caught myself!
-when you are running on a road without sidewalks and the cars blow by they make a very COLD gust of wind in your face!

Here is my Nike+

Here is my menu...I WAY over ate today - but I have the weekly points for it - and have about 1/2 of them left for the week. That is about what I did last week too - I usually eat a lot of my weekly points on one weekend day - no biggie.

Houston we have a problem...

My pants are too BIG! Ok I know there could be worse problems :) I'll take this one any day!! So I think this weekend I will have to go through the closet and weed out some more clothes!! I might even be asking for some clothes for my birthday too!!

Last night was rough - there was a run in with our electric can opener at 1245am - long story - there was a really high pitched noise coming from it and I almost took a sledge hammer to it. Then Miss Charley woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep until 330am!! I was up at 515 to shower and leave for work.

So my parents were wonderful enough to keep her up until 330 for her afternoon nap so when Jimmy and I got home at 4 we could nap too. It was great. We got a good hour and half nap then headed to the gym where we were on for our last 4.5 mile run. No running outside tonight - it was way too cold and windy for us! Hopefully the weather will get better before our 8 mile run this weekend!

So here is my Nike+ from my last 4.5 mile run of our 1/2 marathon training. Next week and for the next 3 weeks our short runs are 5 miles. Then on our race week taper we will run one 4 miler.

And here is my menu for today - a little over - but I have tons of points left...so I am not worried!

FoodUnits
mini muffins - to keep away the nausea 1
chobani w/ honey & granola 4.5
cheese square 1
sushi 7
carrots 0
fiber 1 bar 2
kids chocolate frosty 3.5
turkey, salsa, brown rice & beans 6.5

Just a Menu...

My parents are here tonight and I have a lot to do in order to get ready for this weekend - so this is going to be short and sweet.

I took a 60 minute kick boxing class tonight - just to mix up the cardio...and it kicked my butt. It is so weird how I can run and run and then you get me in a kickboxing class and I feel like I am going to die :) It was great though - a little cheesy for my workout taste - but a good kick in the rear.

I still need to eat something else in order to hit my minimum points...woah this has never happened before! And if I just eat 1 point - I have my 9 AP's to carry over!! I should be really good for the rest of the week then!! Even with taking Friday off from working out...is it really supposed to be this easy!?

So here is my menu...

FoodUnits
1/2 an oikos - i forgot my granola - so i didn't really want the yogurt then :( 1.5
fiber 1 bar 2
mini muffins 1
cheese square 1
turkey, rice, salsa & beans 6.5
carrots 0
tootsie rolls 1
chick-fil-a southwest salad 7
ww key lime pic 3

Do I Really Have to go...

back to work tomorrow? I have so enjoyed the last 5 days off. It has been wonderful. I know I will have plenty to do tomorrow and this week will fly by but c'mon!! :)

Ok - one quick thing to say - it wasn't Charley's birthday yesterday...I know by the way I posted that picture it sounded like it...but I didn't mean to word it that way!! She isn't ONE until 2 Saturdays from now - the 28th. Sorry about the confusion!!

Alright...I have tons of stuff to get done around the house as I have a weekend full of entertaining this weekend and next. This Saturday I am having a shower for a friend from my old job at my house so that should be fun...but I need to clean, prepare and get food ready this week.

Then on Sunday my old college roommate is bringing her daughter over for a play date and another of my college roommates is coming as is a friend of ours from school. So it will be a mini roommate reunion with babies :) Her daughter is 2 months older then Charley. So it should be fun.

Then next Saturday will be Charley's party (with way too many people!!). So I have a lot of work ahead of me!! Plus my really good friend is turning 30 this Saturday so there is a party at her house on Friday night. (you'll be hearing a lot about 30th birthday parties on my blog coming up...as everyone I went to college with - including me - will be turning 30 this year! eek!)

So I was supposed to have a physical therapy appointment today at the gym at 1 - I made it there during the day because I can take Charley to the daycare. Well I get there at 15 till and warm up and then go and wait for the lady - who never shows!! Well until 1:35 and I have to get Charley out of the daycare by 1:45! (since she is under 1 yr. she only gets an hour...but not for long!) She said they called and left a message on my cell - well that was in the car - and they did - but 5 minutes before 1!! C'mon!! So I did an unexpected 45 minutes of cardio this afternoon - I took it easier though since I knew I still had to run.

After the gym I took Charley to the playground to swing for a few minutes. SHE LOVES SWINGS!!! As do I...I could just go to the park and swing anytime. I used to walk Mack through a park at my old house in VA and I'd swing while he wandered around the park - it was a great relaxing part of my day :) Anyways...here is a picture of her on the swing. I couldn't get her to look at me - since there was a grandmother there with her granddaughter. She was very nice and her granddaughter was almost exactly 1 month younger then Charley...plus my phone's camera has a TERRIBLE delay - so I get Charley to look at me then right as it snaps - she turns her head!

So after Jimmy got home from work we headed out for our 4.5 mile run - and we did get to run outside. I am loving the running outside!! But now I hear that it is supposed to snow tomorrow...I really hope not!! I pushed Charley the first half of the run and then Jimmy took her the second half. See Jimmy is a lot faster then me - and we planned on running the same route - so he takes off and by the time he is on his way back from the turning point - I am on my way there still he grabs her and takes her back with him - so that way she isn't out in the cold for so long. It works nice...though I think I push her up all the hills and he pushes her - well she pulls him down all of them! But that is fine with me as it is an added workout!

Here is my Nike+

Here is my menu...I am eating a little too much chocolate and desserts!! I need to cut back!! Oh I made this Weight Watchers Key Lime Pie recipe today - I haven't had it yet though it is on my menu...but I will let you know how it turned out!!

FoodUnits
cereal w/ skim 6
chocolate 1.5
pineapple fluff 1
ww bagel w/ pizza sauce 2
turkey sausage 4.5
45 min of moderate cardio -3
pudding 1
baked nachos w/ turkey meat 13
chocolate 2
ww key lime pie 3

Another Wonderful Day

Today was a great day...though we didn't get going until late. Charley let us sleep in until 8am!! Now that is a treat in itself!

My best friend from home came and visited for a little while this afternoon so that was a wonderful surprise!

We took the dogs to the park for a hike - they had a great time and a good friend met us there with her golden retriever and they all had a great time running through the woods.

We came home from there - I hit up the grocery store and then made it home to get ready to head to the gym for spin class.

One thing I did learn - a tough spin class the day after a 7 mile run = VERY TIRED LEGS. Woah. The spin instructor of the class we attended was AWESOME. I had not been to one of her classes before and she will have me back there again for sure!!

Jimmy and I are trying to mix up our non-running days with new cardio workouts so he did spin with me tonight - don't think I am going to get him to take step with me on Thursday though ;)

Now we are home - had dinner and now I have to get my butt in the shower then off to bed.

I actually had off work today and tomorrow is my scheduled day off - so this week should fly by!!

Have a great week!!

Here is my menu...

FoodUnits

Why I Felt Amazing Here...

I was 40+ weeks pregnant with Charley - though at this time we didn't know if the baby we were having would be a boy or a girl. We were in the hospital at 5am getting ready to be induced and knew we'd meet our little baby this day...it was an amazing feeling...though if I would have known how much work it was and how long it would take to get her out...I might not have been smiling so big in this picture!!

A Great Run

Hello all...I am finally back with a semi-real post :)

Today we had our long run day - 7 miles. The weather was gorgeous outside! We had to run separately - because we didn't think that Charley would make it with us for over an hour. So Jimmy ran this morning and I ran after he got back. I did my 7 miles in just under an hour and 15 minutes.

IT. FELT. GREAT.

I wasn't really dreading this run for some reason. I went on mapmyrun.com and planned out a route. I didn't really want to do an out and back type of route - so I made a loop route. It had about 6 or so turns which help me - because that gives me little things to look forward to - running on one road straight is a tad boring for me.

I headed out and really enjoyed the run - and it kind of flew by. And I kind of can't wait until our 8 mile run next weekend - though I'd have to say the enjoyment of today's run was being outside in the sun and the weather. So now I am just keeping my fingers crossed for 6 more weekends of gorgeous weather :) I took my time on this run - on the long runs per our training plan you are only supposed to run at 60%-75% of your normal pace.

Here is my Nike+

After our runs we headed out to Kennedy Kreiger - which is a local school/institute for kids with disabilities. My sister-in-law works with kids who have disabilities (Jimmy used to work with them too when I met him). Well some of her kids were participating in a wheelchair basketball tournament there. We went to this same tournament last year. It is such a great event and so much fun to see the kids having a blast and working together as a team.

It really makes you appreciate life - while I was there I was thinking about how many times I dread my runs and going to the gym etc. And these kids, most of whom can't walk - were loving life and having a blast doing what they had the ability to do. I am sure these kids would love to go outside on a run without their chairs and most won't have the chance to do it. So I need to appreciate what I have the ability to do and enjoy it - just like the kids did today at the tournament.

So far my long weekend has been amazing and it isn't even over yet!!

Jimmy, Charley and I headed out for Valentine's dinner last night to one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Charley was a little angel...though when we are out to eat she has a little bit of a flirting problem. She was constantly waving, smiling and giggling at a guy whom we were sitting next to - who was trying to have a nice Valentine's Day dinner with his wife. They did seem to think it was cute...well at least they said so...

Charley started to get a little fidgety after we got our appetizer. So we decided to get our entree to go - it was a blessing in disguise - we were STUFFED. And we knew if we sat there and had the main meal too - we both would have felt the need to eat some of it. So all in all...the salad, bread sticks and appetizer were amazing - we enjoyed our time out as a family and we didn't OVER stuff ourselves.

Jimmy ran me by a local chocolate shop on the way to dinner to get a little bit of yummy chocolate for Valentine's day. It was delicious :)

Here are 3 pics from Valentine's Day - we asked our neighbor to take a picture of us as a family and then there is a cute one I got of Ms. Charley and one of Charley and Jimmy - they looked so cute getting ready to get in the car ---though when I told Jimmy I wanted to take their picture - he wasn't too thrilled as he thought we were running late :) hence the look on his face...it makes me laugh!

And last but not least here is my menu for today...I have 6.5 AP's left over for later in the week :)

Road Trip!!

To the land of cheese and beer!! mmm 2 of my favorite things!! :) See Jeannie and I are heading to Wisconsin in July for the Trek Womans Triathlon with Michelle!

We are so excited!! I can't wait to meet Michelle - who is such an inspiration...she has almost lost 100 pounds!

And Jeannie and I will have a blast on the drive. We are leaving Baltimore EARLY on Friday morning to get to Wisconsin (13 hours) by dinner time - so we can hang out Friday night and Saturday go and get our race packets etc. Then we have the tri on Sunday and we will leave EARLY Monday morning to come home!

It will be a whirlwind of a weekend but it will be so much fun! We'd fly - but since we need our bikes for the tri - we have to drive.

So that is my exciting news! :)

Oh and Jimmy and I have found 2 other races we are agoing to do. We are going to do a local duathlon - you run a 5k - bike 16.5 miles - then run another 5k. It is right up Jimmy's alley, because he wanted to try a triathlon this year, but he isn't a strong swimmer, so this will give him a leg up for doing his first tri, if he likes it that is :) and it is only 15 miles from home!!

We are also going to do a Muddy Buddy race!! I am so pumped about this one! It is a race where one person starts on a mountain bike and the other person starts out running. You meet up at the first obstacle and do it together, then the person who ran grabs the bike and the person who biked goes off running! At the end your get to run through a mud pit together!! I can't wait, it is going to be so much fun!

Alright - the kiddos should be getting up any moment and I have a few more things to get done. I will be back tonight with my menu and hopefully my Nike+ if my iPod decides to work the entire run. I am still heading to the Apple store on Friday to get this figured out once and for all!!

Until tonight...

Another Busy Day...

The day started off kind of boring with work...then it picked up from there.

Came home got Charley - went to my physical training appointment, got fitted for my orthodics, went to the gym and did 40 minutes of cross training, came home cooked dinner, ate dinner, and now I am posting this - then I have to go and put away 2 weeks of laundry so we can get into our bed!

So this is going to be short - once again I won't have a chance to share my exciting news...but I will soon enough. Hopefully tomorrow if both of the kiddos nap - I will get the post up. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed on that one! :)

Have a great night..

Double GRRR...

My iPod froze again today. So much for the resetting it working. Grrr. I am going to Apple this week to get this solved before I am out of warranty. Anyways - at least it froze when we were outside running by the Inner Harbor in 66* weather!! At least I had Jimmy and Charley running with me and the beautiful scenery to look at.

I took the dogs to the dog park today too - they had a blast. And now they are all knocked out!

I was supposed to have a bball game today - but the other team ended up forfeiting which was great, because I had a lot of stuff to do: CostCo, PetSmart and the Grocery Store. I completed all of my tasks and then came home to take a nap before Jimmy and Charley came back from his parents house - well I just fell asleep when they got home. But my wonderfully amazing husband told me I could keep sleeping - I got up at 7:45pm!! Hence the reason it is 11:25pm and I am still awake! It was a great and much needed nap - but I still need to get to bed!

I just finished cutting up my veggies for the week. I have a lot of good and yummy foods for this week. Tonight I made a dinner that I read was one of Amy (from last season's biggest loser) favorite low calorie meals. It was ground turkey mixed with brown rice and salsa. IT IS SO GOOD!! And one pack of rice, meat and 1/2 jar of salsa made 4 servings. So I have lunch for a few days too!

I have some exciting news that some of you might already know about...but hopefully I will have time to post about it tomorrow night. I'm off to bed!

Here is to having a great week!!

"Congratulations"

"This is Tiger Woods. You have just completed your fastest mile." is what I heard after my run tonight. I ran my butt off. I beat my 4 mile time by 1m 30s!!! I decided to mix it up a little and run some intervals - so that is what I did...and I ran 4 miles in 36m 50s!!! Here is my Nike+

Jimmy also ran his best time tonight - I think it had to do with him being on the treadmill right next to me :) He ran his 4 miles in 28m 31s!! Crushed my time...but heck he's never had a baby. :) Ok that has nothing to do with it...he's in amazing shape...but it makes me feel better!! :)

Work dragged on so much today. At least it is Friday night...and the weekend is here. Packed as it may be...it is here, thank goodness. And next week is my week of only 3 days of work...which is good, because I miss my Charley when I am at work :( And I think this week she has been missing me too. When we have dropped her off at the babysitters the past 2 days she has cried for us as we leave :( it makes me sad, though I know she is ok about 2 minutes later...but still.

I feel like we get home from work, pick her up, feed her dinner, go to the gym - where she goes back to daycare - and then come home and put her to bed. It feels like we have no time together. So my goal this weekend is to have as much Charley time as I can.

Tomorrow I have weigh in first thing in the morning then we have some errands to run. We have my girlfriend's daughters 1st birthday party at 4:30. This is the girl I watch on Tuesdays - she is 3 weeks older then Charley. So it should be fun. Then I have to leave around 6:30 to head to VA for a going away party for my old roommate who is moving to Huntsville, Alabama in 2 weeks. :(

Here is my menu for the day - I at a lot of filling foods again. Today for lunch though, I just couldn't do the chili again, so I took cereal - since we didn't have much else in the house I could take...and the cereal didn't hold me over at all. I ate all of the food I took to work, then had more. Note to self - need to bring a lunch with a larger amount of protein.

Short & Sweet

Skipped the gym tonight - I was just too exhausted and Jimmy isn't feeling well. I know they are excuses, but we are running our 4 miles tomorrow and then running our 5k on Sunday that we were going to run on Saturday - no biggie. We are still getting in the same amount of workouts and rest days - just on different days.

Here is my menu from today - I went over in points because I ate like I was going to run tonight - it will all even out tomorrow.

I have tons of weekly points left anyway...though I have to put away the blondies!! :)

FoodUnits

fiber 1 bar 2
blondie 4
carrots 0
cheese square 1
hot buffalo chicken chili w/ ff sour cream 6

Why do I do this to myself!?!

It is now 10:20pm and I wanted to be in bed by 10:30...not going to happen. Though I am going to bed right after I write this post, so I need to type fast!!

Today was a good day - I ate A LOT of filling foods - I have been trying to do that this week to see how it works out on the scale.

Work flew by again - I got to go and eat lunch with Jimmy today. I think we are going to make it a Wednesday tradition since he works at the bar on Wednesday nights and we don't get to see much of each other on Wednesdays.

On the way home I called my friend who watches Charley on Wednesday's to let her know I'd be there in like 15 minutes and she tells me that Charley is still sleeping and that she'll call me when she gets up. (they live right behind us) So I get to run to the grocery store and then come home and get ready for the gym. So that was nice.

She woke up around 4:45 and when I got her back home I fed her dinner so that we could get to the gym. I wanted to try a class tonight to mix it up and throw my body off (who is so used to running right now)...so there was a class at 6pm - I had the schedule in my calendar book. Well I get to the gym 10 minutes early to get Charley into the daycare and get in line for the class...only to find out there was no class tonight...um because my schedule was from LAST YEAR. oops.

So I did a light cardio - 30 min on the elliptical and 30 min on the arc trainer. I was going slow though, because I was reading, since I didn't bring my iPod with me.

We came home from the gym and played a little then I put Charley into bed and the madness began...

I was planning on making buffalo chicken chili tonight for lunches for Jimmy and I for the rest of the week. I have been making white chicken chili in the crock pot - but Jimmy wanted me to mix it up and someone mentioned this buffalo chicken chili at my WW meeting on Saturday since we were talking about the Super Bowl and wings and all.

So I found this Rachel Ray recipe online (I used 99% ff ground turkey instead since it is lower in points and I didn't do the cornbread thingies). I made it in my awesome Rachel Ray ORANGE dutch oven that I got for Christmas from Jimmy :)

Well I added in some stuff and left out some stuff that Jimmy doesn't like and added a little more spice, because we both like spicy food. Well let me tell you...spicy doesn't even give it justice...I don't know if we'll be able to eat it! I am going to try it tomorrow with a little ff sour cream on top... oh and if you get 6 servings it is 5 points each.

Then I made Charley some noodles for lunch tomorrow. After that, I made these...why? I don't know! I saw this today and craved them...and I am not even a butterscotch fan!! I cut mine up into itsy tiny pieces - and they are still 3 points each. The good thing is that Jimmy loves butterscotch and sweets and he will eat them all up I am sure. If not I am going to freeze them to have when I have another craving so I don't have to make a big thing of them again! They are REALLY GOOD though.

So here is my menu tonight - like I said I ate a lot of the filling foods (which are all starred in my menu) today which are either zero or really low in points - so I had the points to spare for my 2 little blondies I had :) Ok it is 10:36...good night everyone!!

Whew!

**WHEW...good thing I wrote this post this morning...because it is after 9pm and I just finished dinner...another swamped night - now I am watching tivoed Biggest Loser - then I am off to bed!!**

Ok I have been in a whirlwind for the last 4 days - here is a recap bullet style because if I were to write it all out - I'd be back in the same situation of not getting things done and running out of time.
  • Friday we went skiing and had a blast! Here are some pics.
Here I am coming off the lift...

Jimmy and I being silly...
  • Jimmy & I on the ride home...
  • Saturday I had my WW meeting (you can see the results below) I was very excited :)
  • After my meeting we had to take my car to the dealer to get the tires balanced - ever since we got it, there was a little shakiness on the road so they balanced the tires for us for free - and 3 of the 4 were out of balance.
  • After we dropped the car off we headed to Costco and the huge boxes of strawberries are back!! I was pumped I have been eating me some strawberries!!
  • Then we went to pick up the car - I came home and packed up Charley and the dogs and headed to DE for the night (Jimmy was working at the bar that night so I thought I'd go home and do some shopping)
  • After we got to DE my mom, Charley and I did some shopping - mostly for Miss Charley - she got a lot of good clothes since she will soon be in 18 month clothes!!! OMG!
  • Sunday morning I went out to breakfast with one of my best friends from home (she is a triplet)
  • After breakfast we went to one of her sisters houses who has a son who is 5 months younger then Charley...here they are :) **Jimmy told me I have to make a note here that Charley is on her knees in these pictures while S is standing - that Charley is a lot taller then he is - she is 5 months older :)
  • After our visit I headed back to my parents house and went for my 6 mile run - through snow, slush, ice and mud - I followed our training plan and ran at 75% of my normal speed - and it took me 1h 5m...here is my Nike+ from my run. You can see the spots where I was gingerly running across the ice and slush!
  • After my run we all took off and headed back to Baltimore - by way of my amazing friend Margie's house
  • Margie made Charley's 1st birthday invitations. They are gorgeous!!! This is what they look like :) I LOVE THEM!!
  • Once I got back we relaxed for a while - then my parents arrived (they watch Charley on Monday's so they come on Sunday night)
  • My mom made homemade pizza for dinner and we started watching the Superbowl - then I headed to the grocery store...which was EMPTY!!
  • Yesterday - work was insane - by the time I blinked I had to leave to go and get Jimmy
  • We headed off to run an errand then home - where I had to leave immediately to take Mack to the vet because he had a bad ear infection
  • That was a 2 hour ordeal...one of the front desk people at the vet quit in the middle of the day, so there was a back log of people standing there - I had a 5pm appointment and didn't get in the room until 5:30 then didn't get seen until 6:15 and didn't get out of there until 6:45!!
  • Then I just barely made (Jimmy had to meet me there to get Mack from me so I wouldn't be late!) my 7pm physical therapy appt to verify if I need orthodics or not - and I was there until 9PM!!! I was beat by the time I got home...hence the lack of a post from yesterday..
  • Today I am off - Charley is napping - but about to wake up I think...I have errands to run...my girlfriends daughter is coming over at 1pm...it never ends!!
Oh yea no gym last night - so I guess that is my day off for the week.

Here is my Nike+ for my 4 mile run tonight. I am still pretty consistent with my 4 mile run pace (on the treadmill anyway) and am within 10 seconds of the same time for my last four 4 mile runs.

I didn't get to tweet my menu from yesterday - but my total points were 26.5 and I used 1.5 of my weekly flex points.

Here is my menu from today.

Hopefully things will be calmer and back to normal soon!!

I want this bag!!

It is so cute!! Kind of girly on the outside and ORANGE polka-dots on the inside!! I LOVE ORANGE!! AND I can see this being big enough to hold a few diapers and a sippy cup too!

The contest is run by Krystyn at Really, Are You Serious? and the bag is made by Sherry who has an awesome Etsy store. I am totally going to order a bag or 2 for friends for gifts...but I want to WIN one of my own!!

So go and say Happy Blogaversary to Krystyn...but if you don't want to enter the contest that is fine...more of a chance for me to win!! :)

I got back from Delaware around 3p after picking up the AMAZING invitations to Charley's 1st birthday party :) I will def take a picture of them and post them tomorrow too!

I have the ski pictures now too...but they will have to wait too.

My legs are like jelly and it is 1015p and I need to shower and get in bed.
