We had a great long Easter weekend. Jimmy ended up taking off on Friday so he could come to Brunch with the Easter Bunny with Charley and I. So we went and met my brother and sister in law at the brunch, where Charley had her first Easter Bunny experience...

As you can see, it didn't go over too well!! She was fine from a distance, smiling, waving and keeping her eyes on him the entire time. I could even stand by him and hold her and she was fine, but as soon as we put her on his lap she lost it!! Then as soon as we picked her up, she was fine again :)
Saturday we had a great family day together -- we did have a little furniture rearranging party that was unexpected though. It seems that Charley isn't a fan of her morning nap anymore, which makes me sad (because I need it too!!) but we tried to put her down Saturday morning and she was up there talking and making noises and we were going about our business listening in on the monitor...then we heard a lot of giggling...So we headed upstairs and found her dumping all of the water from her humidifier into her crib and onto the floor...and laughing up a storm!!
So we needed to move her crib to the other side of the room. I knew we were going to have to do this soon since she has a shelf above her crib with frames on it, and we would have to move her before she could reach them...but this was a little sooner then we thought. It isn't the optimal arrangement for her room, but it is the safest and it will do until we switch her into a toddler bed. So her room got a thorough cleaning on Saturday and we ran a bunch of errands.
Sunday we headed to VA for lunch with Jimmy's family, then back to our house, where my family all came over for dinner. It was a nice, tiring, food filled weekend :)
All of the food wasn't exactly what I was looking for after hitting my 10% goal on Saturday morning, but I hit the gym hard last night and ate totally on plan yesterday and will for the rest of the week, and today I was back down to where I was on Saturday morning, so hopefully the weekend didn't do too much damage...but only time will tell when I go back to my meeting on Saturday.
Happy Tuesday!! only 4 more days until the weekend :)

I am so proud of you for hitting your 10% goal, and just laughed out loud and Miss Charley's shenannigans! lol
Glad to hear you had a wonderful Easter!
Those pictures are too cute. It seems like most kids are afraid of the Easter bunny. Maybe it's his big head and ears.
Congrats on hitting 10%!!
Thanks so much for the advice on what to do with the chocolate. My daughter will love it and I won't eat it. :)
I love your Easter pics. Too cute!!!
