Why do I do this to myself!?!

It is now 10:20pm and I wanted to be in bed by 10:30...not going to happen. Though I am going to bed right after I write this post, so I need to type fast!!

Today was a good day - I ate A LOT of filling foods - I have been trying to do that this week to see how it works out on the scale.

Work flew by again - I got to go and eat lunch with Jimmy today. I think we are going to make it a Wednesday tradition since he works at the bar on Wednesday nights and we don't get to see much of each other on Wednesdays.

On the way home I called my friend who watches Charley on Wednesday's to let her know I'd be there in like 15 minutes and she tells me that Charley is still sleeping and that she'll call me when she gets up. (they live right behind us) So I get to run to the grocery store and then come home and get ready for the gym. So that was nice.

She woke up around 4:45 and when I got her back home I fed her dinner so that we could get to the gym. I wanted to try a class tonight to mix it up and throw my body off (who is so used to running right now)...so there was a class at 6pm - I had the schedule in my calendar book. Well I get to the gym 10 minutes early to get Charley into the daycare and get in line for the class...only to find out there was no class tonight...um because my schedule was from LAST YEAR. oops.

So I did a light cardio - 30 min on the elliptical and 30 min on the arc trainer. I was going slow though, because I was reading, since I didn't bring my iPod with me.

We came home from the gym and played a little then I put Charley into bed and the madness began...

I was planning on making buffalo chicken chili tonight for lunches for Jimmy and I for the rest of the week. I have been making white chicken chili in the crock pot - but Jimmy wanted me to mix it up and someone mentioned this buffalo chicken chili at my WW meeting on Saturday since we were talking about the Super Bowl and wings and all.

So I found this Rachel Ray recipe online (I used 99% ff ground turkey instead since it is lower in points and I didn't do the cornbread thingies). I made it in my awesome Rachel Ray ORANGE dutch oven that I got for Christmas from Jimmy :)

Well I added in some stuff and left out some stuff that Jimmy doesn't like and added a little more spice, because we both like spicy food. Well let me tell you...spicy doesn't even give it justice...I don't know if we'll be able to eat it! I am going to try it tomorrow with a little ff sour cream on top... oh and if you get 6 servings it is 5 points each.

Then I made Charley some noodles for lunch tomorrow. After that, I made these...why? I don't know! I saw this today and craved them...and I am not even a butterscotch fan!! I cut mine up into itsy tiny pieces - and they are still 3 points each. The good thing is that Jimmy loves butterscotch and sweets and he will eat them all up I am sure. If not I am going to freeze them to have when I have another craving so I don't have to make a big thing of them again! They are REALLY GOOD though.

So here is my menu tonight - like I said I ate a lot of the filling foods (which are all starred in my menu) today which are either zero or really low in points - so I had the points to spare for my 2 little blondies I had :) Ok it is 10:36...good night everyone!!

Those blondies look SOOO good. I want one! hahaha. In other news... I LOVE orange kitchen gear. I've been on the hunt for an orange tea kettle forever! But I kind of refuse to buy any of Rach. Ray's orange stuff because I get annoyed that it's all the rage now because of her. I know... so silly. ha! But I am sort of in love with your dutch oven.......

And in other news I'm totally making that recipe!!
