Short & Sweet

Skipped the gym tonight - I was just too exhausted and Jimmy isn't feeling well. I know they are excuses, but we are running our 4 miles tomorrow and then running our 5k on Sunday that we were going to run on Saturday - no biggie. We are still getting in the same amount of workouts and rest days - just on different days.

Here is my menu from today - I went over in points because I ate like I was going to run tonight - it will all even out tomorrow.

I have tons of weekly points left anyway...though I have to put away the blondies!! :)

It's okay to skip now and then, and it's exactly like you said - you're still getting the workouts in, just on different plans. It's called life, baby, and you're doing just fine :)

Hope Jimmy feels better - fill him up with OJ and echinacea! :)

Thank you for the words of encouragement today!
I'm amazed by people who run. I would really like to get back into shape so I could run, I think there is something theraputic about it. I used to run the mile in track way back in the day.
How was the Chili? Was it still really spicy? I've been doing a lot of soup and chili lately...good stuff!
