Thursday Already...

That is fine with me!! Today I was out of the office and work flew by!

I have to go to DC once a week for work and when we were there last week for a show at the improv I saw this new restaurant that I just had to try when I was there this week for work. It is called Chop't it is a salad bar restaurant! It was awesome!!I got a HUGE and I mean HUGE salad (ok it did cost me almost $10). But the reason it was so pricey was that I was there at lunch rush and was all flustered so I just picked a bunch of toppings that sounded yummy - well most of them weren't free ones...oops. I had a salad of mesculin greens, romaine & spinach w/ feta, Cajun chicken, white beans, grapes, granny smith apples, corn and carrots w/ low fat balsamic vinaigrette. It was delish!

I still have 1/3 of it left! I ate what I could for lunch which wasn't much - gave my Dad 1/2 of what was left to take home with him and the rest is in the fridge for me tomorrow. I will def go back there! Here are some pics of my salad...since I can't have a camera or my cell at work - and I was out of the office and in the car I decided to take pictures of my food with my camera phone :)


Tonight I went on a 3.5 mile run with Roni it was a great run - not too cold out and we ran through a new neighborhood, well not new - but new for us to run through. The run flew by because we were talking the entire time and running in a new place always makes time go by quicker. I really didn't want to go out and run - but boy am I glad I did. I feel great now. Alright - we are off to watch Lost which we tivoed last night since Jimmy had to work. I can't wait to see it!!

Here is my menu...I have some AP's left over. Tomorrow is my last day of the week - so I will be good - I won't have eaten all of my AP's or Flex again - which is the same thing I did last week and I gained...so we'll see how this week goes! Until tomorrow... (oops...I forgot to do the filling foods thing...maybe I'll remember tomorrow!!)

Where did this week go?? OMGosh I can't believe it's Friday already (although I'm extremely relieved that it's Friday!)

Your salad looks so yummy - I loved my chinois chicken salad from Wolfgang Puck's in LA. I'm glad we don't have one here because I'd eat there every day!
