Well I have decided to join Weight Watchers and go to meetings. I have noticed one thing in common of most of weight loss blogs I visit and that is, the majority of the people who have successfully lost the weight and kept it off, have gone to meetings. So even though I have lost over 16 lbs on my on over the last 3 months, I need to kick it into gear and go to meetings. So as of 8 am tomorrow morning I will be going to my weekly meeting. My weigh in day is going to change for the BLBE Challenge, but that shouldn't be a big deal.
I am back in my pre-pregnancy clothes (not as comfortably as I would like - but they do fit). I am only 2.4 lbs from my BC weight (before Charley), though I was trying to lose weight before I got pregnant with her. So I am going at this once and for all for myself and my daughter to lose those last 25 (well 27.4) pounds.
I am also going to be journaling more every day and I am going to TRY to post my menu. I say TRY because with Charley and everything that goes on once I get home, sometimes it is hard to find the 5 minutes to get on the computer. But I am going to do my best.
Alright...I am off to go and watch my girlfriends little girl this morning, then off to Virginia to see a bunch of friends and run a bunch of errands. A long day awaits!
I will be back tomorrow night with my official WW weigh in number and another post (with my menu!).
Until then...everyone have a great day!

Good for you Carrie.
I have been attending meetings since mid july, and Even when I haven't had a good week, I still look forward to going to that meeting. I always get something out of it. Whether its motivation, or a recipe, or a tip or trick, there is always something you can learn to help you on your journey.
Have a great day.
Good luck with WW. I plan to go to the meetings when I have Maxwell. I did very well going to the meetings, and I actually liked them. Not only was I accountable, but I got to be social which in real life, I'm very shy. I also enjoyed getting new recipes, and seeing new foods at the grocery store that people had tried, and brought in to share. They brought the wrappers not the actual food. :) Anyway good luck, and have a nice day today.
Good for you!!! Hopefully it will help you jump start a little more. Can't hurt to try, right? I generally do better when I go to meetings. There's something about someone actually weighing you and telling you if you gained or lost. Good luck!!
Hi Carrie -
I was doing a Google search for "Newlywed Blogs" and VOILA - I found yours. Sorry to send this through a POST COMMENT but I didn't see an email address. :-(
I'm part of a new online Social Community/Resale Boutique/Online Store with really SASSY 'She Just Got Married' apparel JUST FOR THE NEWLYWED WOMEN!! Yes....it's just for the girls this time. It's called SheJustGotMarried.com
We are actually about a week away from a major PR campaign but I figure it's never too early to start spreading the news with the newlywed community. We are trying to stock the Boutique so I'd love to ask that if you (or any of your inner circle - :-) ) have anything left over from your wedding that you'd like to see used by a bride to be who could really use a break on the expense of her wedding, then feel free to just post it in our Boutique - it's a FREE Listing!! AND...you can recoup a little of your own expense. See? It's a full circle of love!
We are adding some GREAT new features by the end of this week that will be a HUGE addition to the site. AND - we'd love to have your witty writing ability added to THE FORUM as well one of the features that will be up soon called "That's JUST so FUNNY"!! We are all about promoting the POSITIVE FUN Side of married life.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like. Hope to see you in the neighborhood ~ Denée King
That is wonderful that you are only a couple of pounds from your pre-pregnancy weight. I still have 10 pounds to go. Good luck with the weight loss - it is so hard to lose the weight. If you can't get on the computer keep a notebook with you to write things down so you don't forget. Planning ahead also works for me.
