Catch Up...

Let me start back at the beginning of the week. I lost .8 pounds this week, bringing the total to 8.8 lbs. Hopefully this Monday I will hit the 10 lb mark. A big shout out and CONGRATS to Jeannie who hit her 10% and over 20 lbs gone this weekend!! Head over to her site and give her a congrats!

Work this week was great, I was super busy, so that was nice.

Jimmy's birthday was on Tuesday and for some reason I felt it my right (even though it wasn't MY birthday) to eat whatever I wanted in massive quantities and boy did I pay for it later in the night. But it all started with these...I made them for Jimmy for breakfast, only 1/2 the recipe and it made 2 pans of them, one went to work and one stayed home. I had my fair share of both pans though...I felt so sick from all the sugar. Then we went to Panera for lunch for his birthday since we both work on Tuesdays...and then we went out to Flemings Steakhouse for dinner. See I don't like steak, so I don't cook it at home and Jimmy likes it, so every year for his birthday since I have known him, I take him to a really good steakhouse. I had an amazing apple cider pork chop...TO DIE FOR...if I could only figure out how they made the sauce...

We had a birthday party for Jimmy and our friend Jen whose birthdays were both this week. The party was a fajitas and margaritas party on Friday night. We had a great time and I was way to busy cooking and doing things to eat a lot. Though I did make some good cookies...perhaps the easiest cookies I have ever made and they were yummy! Here it is...1 box of cake mix (any flavor...we used funfetti), one 8oz container of cool whip (we used lite) and 1 egg. That is it, mix it, bake it and devour it...though we iced them and wrote letters on each to spell out HAPPY BIRTHDAY...but you could do without the icing if you wanted...they are great right out of the oven!

Today I finally made it to the pool to swim my laps and get some training in for the triathlon which is in less then 2 months!! I did my 1/2 mile (33 lengths) in 20 minutes flat. I was shocked, I thought it would at least take me 30+ min. I am going back tomorrow to do it again. I am waiting for Jimmy to get my new tires on my bike so I can go for some bike rides. Then it is time to start running...

Tonight I babysat for my friends 2 kids, and I had Charley with me, since tonight is Jimmy's last Saturday night at the bar. WOAH, what was I thinking?!? 2 infants and a 3 year old. Bless anyone, who has ever had twins or more multiples or even 2 kids under age 1. I did survive, by 8:45pm both girls were in bed and the 3 year old was watching Bee Movie. Needless to say I need to get my butt into bed and recuperate.

Hopefully I will be back with another post in the next 2 days sometime...

Adios!
