30 Weeks...only 10 more to go!! As usual...I can't believe it. Time is flying. On Christmas Day I will have exactly 2 months to go...that is if I go on my due date...by the new year, which is right around the corner I will be 32 weeks...with only 56 days to go...there is going to be a baby here soon and we have so much to do!!I had a Dr's appointment last week and I am still measuring 2 weeks ahead. So if I am still measuring ahead on my appointment on the 2nd of Jan, then she said she will order me another ultrasound to make sure the baby isn't too big and that there isn't too much fluid. I don't know what happens if either of them is the case, but I guess I will find out! I passed my gestational diabetes test, which is great! I didn't want to have to go back for the 3 hour test.
I did have my first bout with the fun Braxton Hicks contractions the other night. I woke up to roll over like I do multiple times a night, since I don't sleep very well and then it hit. 2 of them, and 2 of them was enough. They felt like really bad cramps kind of sharp and painful, but tolerable. I'd just like to not have anymore...those 2 were enough :)
Things with the basement should be moving along as of today, so hopefully by this weekend I can post some pictures of the basement with actual walls :) The carpet guy is coming today too to measure, so hopefully we can at least have that all set up and ready to install as soon as the walls get up and we get them painted.
I have a new nephew!! Last weekend I went with my friend Katea, to pick up her 8 week old golden retriever puppy Jax!! He is sooo cute and I love him so much! I have been trying to go over to her house to help her with some training and just play with him at least once a week. My dogs aren't a big fan when I come home smelling like him...but I can't resist. We are going to have our first big play date this weekend as long as it doesn't rain, so I will definitely take some pictures then...until then here is one picture from the day we picked him up :)
I can't believe that Christmas is only 1 week away. I am done all of my shopping. Jimmy still needs to get some stuff for his family...but that is on him since he can't decide what he wants. I just need to wrap about 5 more things and then I am done. I am glad to be done and glad that I figured out something to get everyone. Now just to wait until this weekend when I get a 4 day weekend. I can't wait!

We are also trying to get our basement finished before baby comes. Hopefully in the new year we will tackle that project!! :)
I love Golden Labs, they are so smart and loyal! Someday I would like to own one, maybe when baby is older!

2) Is your fleece from Old Navy? I went this weekend and so desperately wanted the green one... but they were out. BOOO! I also accidentally bought an Old Navy Maternity shirt. It was on the regular sale rack. Woops! I still wore it. For 4 bucks I don't care if it's supposed to be for pregnant people :)
You are looking big and wonderful!! I am looking forward to being done being pregnant and working on getting my body back into shape - I feel HUGE!!!
I am consistantly measuring about one week behind and the better mean that I won't go one week over because I am want this little one to come early.
I did read that if they do the ultrasound to determine how big the baby is it is very unrealiable. I get on www.diaperswappers.com all of the time and one of forums was discussing that. The mom said that her doctor wanted to induce her early because it seemed as if the baby was going to be a big one due to the ultrasound. Many other moms wrote in to say they had the same issue and every time the ultrasound was way over estimating the size of the baby. Just something to think about.
I need to get my 8 month pregnancy picture up but have not taken one yet.

I have been so busy peeing that I don't know if my belly feels different as if she dropped or not. I have noticed that when she kicks I feel it lower in my belly than before but I have never had the foot in my ribs like you. I think I carry my babies pretty low. Maybe you are having a boy since you are carrying higher!!
