I'm Back...or should I say We're back...

So...why not start off with the exciting news...Jimmy and I are having a baby!! Yep...a baby! I still am not sure that it has completely hit me yet, but I am sure it will soon enough. I am pretty sure I am about 8 weeks now, will find out for sure at the Dr's on Friday. We haven't really told anyone yet, not even our parents, we are waiting another few weeks just to be sure everything is ok....so I can't believe I am telling you all this, but I need to tell someone!!

So needless to say this blog is going to be getting a face lift in the near future...since there is no more weight loss, and as of this Sunday we are no longer newlyweds!!

I am sorry that I have been slacking in posting, but I have been busy as all get out and tired when I am not busy. This pregnancy thing isn't all that much fun right now...I don't want to eat a lot of things and those things that I do want to eat, aren't all that good for me, which is tough (like mac and cheese for example). I feel sick if I don't eat, but then I don't want to eat anything!! It is crazy.

Today for lunch I went to a local BBQ place that I loved. I hadn't been there in a long time, we didn't have any food in the house (I went grocery shopping tonight) so I thought I'd go and get a pork BBQ sandwich for lunch. So I go and get the sandwich and bring it back to work and eat like 2 bites and had no desire to eat any more of it!! So I actually threw it away! I couldn't believe it either, I'd usually go there with Jimmy and eat a whole sandwich and 1/2 a thing of fries and I couldn't even stomach 3 bites of it this time! One good thing I can eat, is apples. But I have a feeling I will get sick of that in a while too. Right now I am eating an apple juice slushy (apple juice and ice in the blender).

Chicago was a blast...there was a little drama involved in the wedding (groom getting wasted and making a complete idiot out of himself the day before the wedding). But the wedding did go off without a hitch and we danced the night away. It was a great long weekend get-away. Much needed, busy, but good.

I know I have promised the Belize pics and post, and they are still coming I promise. I am finishing up softball this week and next if we win on Wednesday. And then reffing will be over in 2 weeks too. So I will have much more time...and it doesn't help now that I am taking a lot of naps. That is another thing that is taking some getting used to. I am usually just a go go go and get things done kind of person...all of this napping is not going over well with my usual lifestyle. Jimmy keeps telling me that I have to get used to it and not keep thinking that I need to get everything done...he says he'll pick up the slack...but really...I'll believe it when I see it :) He's great and all, but not a big fan of housework.

Ok, I need to get to bed. I will do my best to get back to posting more regularly...

Until then...

Adios :)

Give in to the tiredness and don't be surprised by the comings and goings of food cravings, it's all part of the wonders of pregnancy.

Congrats on the baby. You will be having yours a few weeks after I have mine. I am 11 weeks and due on February 8th. So my blog as well is no longer about losing weight but about staying healthy while I am pregnant. Just think you only have 4 more weeks before the morning sickness goes away. With my first baby I was eatting small meals all of the time to keep me from getting sick. Remember to keep exercising, you can do everything you were doing before. I am still running, mountain biking (don't tell the doctor that one), walking, lifting weights. I am trying to not gain a ton of weight. With my first baby I did absolutly nothing in regards to exercise and I used the excuse that I was pregnant to eat whatever I wanted. I gained 30 pounds which is normal but my baby only weighed 5 pounds because she came a little early - so most of the 30 pounds was me!! This time I am going to maintain a slow and healthy weight gain with lots of exercise and healthy eating. You probablly do not feel like working out because you are so tired right now, but try to get in short walks. Good Luck and keep us posted with how you are feeling.
