It is finally back to being hot, so I am loving this weekend!
Yesterday (Saturday) I went to watch Jimmy play in an all day soccer tournament in Washington, DC. I did leave for a little while to attend my work summer cookout at one of my co-workers in Annapolis. That was fun, I wish I could have stayed longer and Jimmy could have come with me. They had a live band, a swimming pool, tons of yummy food and great company and AWESOME weather.
I did ok yesterday, I ate most of my flex points at the cookout, but that was what I was planning to do anyway, so I think I did great! :) One thing that I will do better is pack more things (point friendly) for things like when I was at the soccer tournament. I ate most of my points there on crap like granola bars (not point friendly ones), etc, because I was starving!
Today I only have 2.5 flex points remaining, but I am going to get some activity in today, like taking the dogs to the park, washing and cleaning out both cars and doing some gardening. So the AP's will definitely help, though I might not need them. I have planned out my day pretty well. I got up a little late, slept in with Jimmy, since he worked at the bar last night after his soccer tourney, he was beat to say the least (he's still sleeping :)) so that helped, I got up and had some breakfast, not my usual english muffin, because we were out. Gripe - why can't they sell them in packs of 7?!? so I can have one for each day of the week!! But I did do a quick run to the store after buying my dad's Father's Day present and got english muffins, so I can have that as a low point lunch with some watermelon.
Tonight we have a fathers day cookout at my brothers house. I have bought turkey hot dogs for me to have and lite hot dog rolls and I was in charge of bringing the salad. So I should be great for tonight...all depending on dessert :) Nah, I will make sure I will have enough for at least a small bite.
Here is my menu from yesterday...I got sort of munchy and thrown off track at night -- since the work cookout was at 2:30 and that was when I ate my big meal...but the things I got munchy on were low point!! Though it does add up :)
Breakfast:

2 Crab Balls - 4pts
Veggies - 0pts - Vegetable Serving
BBQ Chicken - 4pts
Roll - 2pts
Steamed Shrimp - 1pt
Snacks:
Pulled Pork Leftover - 3pts
Hostess Mini Cupcakes - 1pt
Pudding Pops (2!) - 2pts
Total = 33 - 24 Daily Points = 9 Flex Points Used (5.5 Flex Points Remaining)
**Oh yea...the Movie was HYSTERICAL!!! We both laughed out loud almost the entire time! I'd definitely recommend it! I did have some snacks at the movie though...that is why my Flex Points are lower. I did count for everything, here is what I had: I shared a light Orange Creme Frappicino with Jimmy (thanks to my Hungry Girl email that let me know that they had these new wonderful low point drinks at Starbucks! 3pts for a large and since we shared it only 1.5pts --with no whip cream of course, but it was delish!!) I also had a small Charleston Chew which was 1.5 points as well. I counted 4 pts for all of my movie snacks just to be on the safe side!!**
Ok...off to do some cleaning and being outside!! Everyone have a great finish to your day and I will post my weigh in and my today's menu tomorrow.

Sound slike you had a great weekend! The cookout sounds YUMMY and it sound slike you did pretty well sticking to your points..wish I could say the same about my weekend...ahh well you live you learn...maybe.
Great idea about the turkey dogs and buns....good way to help stay on track!!
