We finally got our new computer and I LOVE IT!! It has Window's Vista, which is going to take a little getting used to, but it is pretty neat!! So here I am trying to catch up on a little blogging...since I have been slacking recently.
I am going to do another posting after this of some pictures that I have been promising everyone too.
This weekend has been a whirlwind, I can't believe that it is already Sunday night! Yesterday I worked all day, reffing kickball, it was entertaining...but a long day. Then it was home to take a shower and get ready to go to my friends party. It was fun, we weren't there for long though, then we went to Howl at the Moon with my cousin and her boyfriend to meet up with some of Jimmy's friends from VA. It was a lot of fun. A long night...but fun.
Today after recuperating until about 2pm, I got up and did yard work, LOTS of yard work. I should take some pictures of that too and post them, it looks nice. But now that it is dark, I will have to wait on the pictures of that until tomorrow or Tuesday since I have my first softball game tomorrow and might not get home until after dark. I mulched, laid soil, pulled weeds, sprayed debugger, planted a few plants and got really dirty. It looks great though I need one more bag of mulch to finish up the backyard. Oh and I am going to plant some marigolds around the wood pile and some tulip bulbs around the one tree, but those areas need a little more de-weeding and that is on Jimmy's agenda for tomorrow.
So things on the outside of the house are finally coming together, however the inside needs a really good cleaning. And there doesn't seem to be a large amount of time coming up that is going to allow me to get to the inside of the house...hopefully time will come from somewhere, because sitting here looking at the mess is not helping!!
Next weekend is the 2007 Bay Bridge Run. Where they drive you to the eastern side of the Bay Bridge and then you run across it back to the west side and to Sandy Point Park. Jimmy and I are running it...it is a 10K so a little over 6 miles. We haven't run a 10K since Thanksgiving, so we'll see how good this goes. Last time I signed up for this race, it was canceled because of high winds, guess it isn't all that safe to run across a big bridge in high winds.
I am signing up for 2 mini triathlons this summer to try something new. One of them Jimmy is doing with me and it is in June the other one is in August and it is part of the Iron Girl Series of races. Since it is all female, it is just me, well me and 2 other girls that I know who are doing it too. It should be a fun and interesting experience. So we have a few other running races mixed in there too, trying to keep the summer filled with exercising things to keep my working out interesting and purposeful.
Well I need to get going and post those pics I have been promising then get to bed as I have a long day tomorrow. Work is super busy and I have softball after work with my work team...should be fun and interesting, since I don't know many people on the team...so we'll see how that goes.
Until tomorrow...
Adios :)

I love the Bay Bridge! Seeing that Arleigh is from Annapolis I used to drive over it a lot when we were up north. And I always wanted to do that run! So fun. And mini triathlons? Look at you go!!!!
Glad you had a good weekend! And are you home for a while now? I get sad when you travel because you dont post haha.
